My 10 Most Popular Crypto Posts Of 2018 & Other Year End Crypto Musings
I find writing is the best way to learn about something. Or as William Faulkner eloquently said:
As I recently wrote, predicting where Bitcoin is going to trade is folly. Most “pros” were off by 80% to 90%+ in 2018. That said, I have strong views of where the crypto market in general is going. I also believe that writing is the best way to learn about something. Or as William Faulkner eloquently said:
“I never know what I think about something until I read what I’ve written on it.”
So I write, and I write, a total of 75 Medium posts on Crypto in the last 18 months, that have earned me the moniker CryptoOracle. Is it deserved? Below are the 10 posts that generated the most views in 2018. You decide:

I remain as bullish as ever regarding the massive disruption and and wealth creation that Crypto will bring. The two big questions I ponder as a VC are:
Who will capture that wealth creation? —I discuss this in detail here
When will Crypto go mainstream? — Bill Gross from idealab (I’m a fanboy) gave one of my favorite TED talks a few years back:
He did a data driven analysis of his 200+ startups, and it turns out the single biggest reason why startups succeed is ….. timing. And there’s only one way I know of to get timing right. And that’s to be there. To survive until the time is right.
So whether crypto goes mainstream in three weeks, or three months, or three years, I’ll be there, reaping the rewards. So come join me. We’ll have some fun, we’ll make some money, and most importantly, I’m pretty sure we’re going to make the world a better place.
I get paid in claps, so PLEASE clap as many times as you like below (so others will see the post)
