There’s a Cambrian explosion of DAOs (Decentralized Autonomous Organizations) happening, lead by the super simple MolochDAO and the dozens of forks that followed (e.g. MetaCartel) . The DAOstack and Aragon ecosystems are also growing rapidly, as are DeFi related DAOs. Given the accelerating activity in DAOs, in partnership with DAOfest, we started DAO TV, a monthly webinar series bringing together DAO thought leaders to discuss important events and projects propelling the DAO ecosystem forward. You can watch the replay of the first call and read the highlights on Medium.
Four our second “Show”, we’re excited to have four more leaders of the DAO movement presenting their views on the current state & future direction of DAOs. They’ll discuss what’s working, the challenges, lessons learned, and the outlook for DAOs in 2020 and beyond.

Our featured speakers are:
James Duncan — CoFounder of Abridged, focused on creating crypto applications with amazing UX that don’t sacrifice key custodianship. Zefram Lou — Co-Founder of Betoken, a decentralized crypto hedge fund that uses meritocratic incentives to optimize performance. Zefram also co-created Fantastic12, a product that lets you turn any Discord channel into a DAO, collaborate on Gitcoin bounties, and share the rewards. He also created PoolDAI, the first platform that lets people lend out their DAI and donate the interests to charity. You can check out his work at github.com/ZeframLou”
Daniel Kronovet- Research Engineer at Colony.io, a platform for community collaboration. Luis Cuende — Co-Founder of Aragon, a digital jurisdiction for digital organizations. Aragon creates tools for decentralized organizations to exist, and more than 1,250 Aragon organizations securing more than $50m have been created to date. Luis got into crypto in 2011 after working on open source and Linux, and has always been interested in how Web3 can level the playing field and create a freer world. Luis is a Forbes 30 Under 30 and MIT TR35.
